2020 Transportation Changes

Transportation Changes for 2020

 

We hope you all have a wonderful holiday break. We are excited to have students in Grades 5-12 and Boys & Girls Club starting back at our brand new campus located at 555 Robert Smalls Parkway. Our start and end times will remain the same with Grades K-1, 3-4, and 9-12 on an 8:00 – 3:00 school day and Grades 2 and 5-8 on an 8:30 – 3:30 school day. Please note the transportation changes below:

Parents of Grades K-2 students: Morning drop-off remains the same.  Afternoon pick-up will be at Celadon for all students.

Parents of Grades 3-4 students: Morning and afternoon drop-off remain the same.

Parents with a child in Grades 3 or 4 AND K-2: Morning drop off is the same. Afternoon pick-up will change with your 3rd and 4th grader being bused to Celadon to meet up with their younger sibling(s) and to be picked up there. The bus will leave Boundary at 3:00 and should arrive at Celadon by 3:25. All parents should be in the Celadon car rider line by 3:30.

Parents of students in Grades 5-12:

Morning and afternoon drop-off will be at our new location, 555 Robert Smalls Parkway. Morning drop-off will take place at the front of the school in the gym/cafeteria and all parents will need to be in the right lane for drop-off.

For afternoon pick-up, parents of students in Grades 9-12 will need to be in the left lane for 3:00 pick-up. Parents of students in Grades 5-8 will need to be in the right lane for 3:30 pick-up. If you have a student in Grades 9-12 AND 5-8, you will need to be in the right lane for 3:30 pick-up.

Boys & Girls Club:

Morning arrival- Boys & Girls Club students in Grades K-4 can be dropped off at our Boundary Street campus. Students in Grades 5-12 will be dropped off at our new campus.  All Boys & Girls Club students can be dropped off at their assigned location beginning at 7 AM. Students in Grades K-2 will be bused to Celadon from Boundary at 7:40 (Grades K-1) and 8:10 (Grade 2).

Afternoon- The bus will begin loading students in Grades 3 & 4 and then travel to our Celadon campus to pick up students in grades K-2. All of our Boys & Girls Club students in Grades K-4 will then be transported to the new campus, arriving by 4:00.  Students in Grades 5-12 will report directly to the gym after school.
