Elementary School (K-5)
In elementary school, we teach foundational skills that will guide children’s learning through middle school, high school, college, the workforce, and life. We encourage a learning environment that is student-centered and where they have the freedom to explore, to make choices, and to collaborate with their peers as part of the learning process.
A daily schedule of core subjects in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies is enhanced by encore classes in LEGO lab, art, physical education, Spanish, technology, and library. Experiential learning outside the classroom through field trips and community service inspires students and enriches the curriculum.
Greetings BPS Families,
The Elementary years of school lay the foundation for a life of learning. During these years, we work together with our students to help them achieve many important milestones.
Visiting our classrooms, you will observe welcoming, confident students inquiring and collaborating. Our curriculum is designed to meet the diverse needs of all our students.
Our teachers and staff are dedicated to being lifelong learners. Through ongoing professional development and professional learning communities, we are dedicated to creating environments and opportunities where students thrive. We are a team committed to excellence and serving the whole child.
We recognize the importance of parent-school partnerships and encourage parental involvement in your child’s educational journey.
We welcome you to our amazing school!
