Bridges Preparatory School’s (BPS) largest fundraiser of the year kicks-off on September 26.

In 2019, BPS partnered with Booster, an organization committed to helping school’s reach their financial goals in order to provide exceptional education for every student. Since then, Bridges has raised over $200,000. Funds raised from this event go directly to enhancing the student experience. In the past, playground equipment and outdoor games for each division were purchased.

“Boosterthon is a great event that truly exposes the strength of our K-12 school, which is a strong community,” said Mr. Daniel Tooman, BPS 9-12 Principal. “This event allows students across grade levels to work toward a common goal. Our students learn that when a community comes together, we can move mountains. And that is the type of message we want to instill into our students.”

The theme of the Boosterthon program this year is Grand Land Adventure. Throughout the two week event, students will watch daily videos about iconic national parks while focusing on five character traits: wonder, perseverance, bravery, stewardship, and gratitude.

Boosterthon wraps up on Friday, October 7 with a Fun Run for students in Kindergarten-5th grade and a Color Run for students in 6th-12th grade.

“Boosterthon is an amazing event that shares the same values as Bridges Preparatory School - leadership, strong character, teamwork, and community,” said CEO Gary McCulloch. “We look forward to another great year, as we have an amazing school community that supports and engages in our school’s priorities and vision.”
