Bridges Preparatory School (BPS) has been recognized as the 2023 Lowcountry's Best Elementary, Middle, and High School with gold honors at the elementary level, and silver honors at the middle and high school levels.
Each year, The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette create a “best of program” to support the Lowcountry community and its local businesses. This year, “Lowcountry’s Best had over 1,400 businesses, organizations, and individuals competing to be named in the top three spots of 198 categories.” BPS is the only public K-12 school this year to receive Lowcountry’s best honors at each school level.
“Bridges Preparatory School has quickly ascended to a premier school of the Lowcountry,” said Gary McCulloch, BPS CEO. “I would like to extend my appreciation to our board and school community for their commitment to building a flagship school that provides an exceptional educational experience for all stakeholders.”
BPS is incredibly grateful for its families and the Lowcountry community for their support in the 2023 Lowcountry's Best voting process. With now over 1360 students, BPS has truly made an impact on the Lowcountry in its first 10 years due to its growth, accomplishments, academic choice, and the rewarding opportunities for its students and families.
Bridges Preparatory School will only continue to flourish over the next 10 years with its new 3-6 school, competition gym, community cafeteria, CATE building and athletic fields.
With a long-lasting imprint on the Lowcountry community, BPS has shifted its focus to the power of “one,” ensuring that all students are growing and learning in a way that is right for them.
