Greetings, I’m Jessica Lingenfelter. I am from Jacksonville, FL, where I graduated from University of North Florida with a BA in Psychology. I began my career in education as a K-2nd grade teacher for six years. I then went back to school to earn my MEd. in School Counseling; thus beginning my passion to help all students overcome the challenges of life: socially, emotionally, academically, home and community. I moved to Beaufort six years ago and began my career here at Bridges as an elementary school counselor.
My mission is to support every student by providing an inclusive, welcoming, and safe space for all students to be seen and be heard. My goal is to support the unique needs of each student through consideration of their educational, family, social and community challenges.
As a school counselor, it is my privilege to help create a school where all students belong and have access to the education they deserve. We are a community! BUCS Strong!
