The US Department of Education Office of Civil Rights has mandated new Title IX regulations with an effective date of August 14, 2020.

Bridges Preparatory School is committed to promoting gender equity, preventing hostile environments based on sex, prohibiting sexual harassment/violence, ensuring protection from retaliation, and remedying other gender-based forms of discrimination in academic settings per the regulations.

The Title IX office works to ensure a safe, welcoming, and harrassment free environment for all students. We provide training to faculty and staff, support to students, and prompt resolutions to all complaints related to discrimination, sexual conduct, and sexual harrassment in all aspects of our school, including academics, extracurricular activities, and athletics. The Title IX office ensures that GCS is in compliance with all federal and state laws prohibiting sex-based discrimination, sexual harrassment, and retaliation.

Please contact our Title IX coordinator regarding any questions: Caroline Lovell, SHRM-CP, PHR, CTIXC.
